Fresh

 Fresh is best when it's in season and you can enjoy it immediately. There's no need to store anything; just use the fresh ingredients that are close to you can buy some, add your own, and enjoy the flavor and aroma. There's a long list of fresh recipes, many of which you probably haven't tried yet. Just trying a few of these recipes will show you how easy and delicious the food can be.


Fresh potato of course tops the list; here's a super easy way to make potato of the day. You can prepare the potato of the day ahead of time and just deep fry it when you're ready to serve it. You can also make potato salad with fresh vegetables and toss it in a vinaigrette. Use a lemon wedge for the garnish. You can also use dried oregano or fresh thyme. Use either onions or fresh vegetables to make the sauce.


A baked potato with a homemade sauce of eggs, flour, sugar, butter and onion makes a filling meal that's both hearty and delicious. Make the baked potato of the day ahead of time and cook in an oven, on the stove top or in the oven (my grandmother used the oven!). Then, place in an air circulation hooded container for at least half an hour. This helps to preserve the nutrients and flavor.
